Trillo, Monica

I'm Mrs. Trillo.

I was born in Tijuana Mexico and since my dad served 10 years in the Marines, I'm a U. S. citizen born abroad the U.S. My first language is spanish so, I can help you if you are taking a Spanish class.  I graduated from High school in Tijuana and came to San Diego to continue my education. I went to Southwestern College and transferred to UCSD, where I got my BA in Pure Mathematics. I have a BCLAD  Mathematics single subject teaching credential from National University , and a Master's Degree in Educational Technology from Concordia University in Irvine.

With my Parents

I have been teaching for 28 years all levels of math from Pre-Algebra to Ap Calculus.  I worked in San Diego Unified School District for 8 years and the rest of the time I've been working with MVUSD.

My family is composed of my husband, my son, my stepson and 2 small dogs.  My children are 28 years old. My son graduated spring 2020 from UCSD with a major in Political Science. My stepson is into cars.

My parents live in Tijuana and, I love spending as much time as I can with them. They are in good health and enjoy life to the fullest.

I like taking dancing classes and I try to exercise at least 3 times a week.  I started doing some hiking over the summer with my sister, which I really enjoyed. when I have TV time, I like to watch crime shows and Hallmark channel movies, Christmas movies are my favorites. My favorite drink is coffee, specially in the morning and before bed time.
