1990: Graduated from St. Cloud State University with a double major in English and education
1991: Began teaching 7th and 8th grade in the Murrieta Valley district at Shivela Middle School
1995: Transferred to MVHS
1997: Obtained Master's Degree from Cal State San Marcos
1999: Married John Byun, former MVHS choir teacher
2001: Mikail Kyu Byun entered the world.
2005: Jade Kyoung Byun entered the world.
2009: Transferred to Murrieta Mesa
